I realize not everyone has time or desire to read my often verbose postings. Especially when it comes to something like this, a life changing experience.
In less than five days, my body and soul will be flying over the atlantic ocean, something it’s never done before. The point of this blog is to detail this journey – mainly for my own documentation, but if anyone wants to read & comment, please feel free.
So, here goes. Closes eyes. Jumps.

My smiling face will be just outside customs to welcome you and Chris to Scotland and if that doesn’t make you want to turn round and fly back over the Atlantic, I don’t what will!

Jump far and as hard as you can. Don’t think about the landing. Or the details. Or the return. Breathe deeply of the adventure and let the salty air forever change you.

I just want to give you some words of encouragment Anne. I went to Scotland last June into August and I have to say that it is a place where God very strongly desires to made present, so I hope that you will be a window to God there. The other thing is, well this is mostly to humor you I suppose, I was greeted by a sarcaastic man and pastor by the name of Jim (short for James) who really had a huge impact on my time there so I hope yours is as great as you could hope for. Say hello to Edinburgh for me, and if you want a breathtaking view of the Edinburgh castle while enjoying a good cup of joe try the Second Level Starbucks on Princes Street. I miss that view.
God Bless, I wish you the best, and well… Cheers!
